Jonathan Felix

Jono was a very lucky find for the cycling team, as he has all the necessary technical and organisational experience to take on the challenge of driving and maintaining the support vehicle. Jono has recently been working in London, but in 2001/2002 he took the role of group leader in many Overland trips across Eastern and Southern Africa, employed by Dragoman. This gives him vital knowledge of guiding people through the unpredictability of Africa. Growing up in South Africa, Jono attended Smit Street Technical College in Johannesburg to gain his N1 and N2 engineering qualifications and worked in many different engineering jobs before taking on the more imaginative Trans-African overlanding.
